Last updated: 2 June 2026. The short, honest version: minimal cookies, no ad tracking, full control.
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let the site remember your actions and preferences (like referral codes, theme, or session) so you don't have to re-enter them on every page.
Strictly necessary: session cookies that keep you signed in and remember the referral code you arrived with (snoutsync_ref in localStorage). These cannot be disabled without breaking the site. Analytics: Google Analytics 4 sets _ga and _ga_* cookies to measure aggregate, anonymized traffic — never tied to your name. Functional: preferences such as dismissed banners and viewport choices.
We do not run third-party advertising cookies. The only third-party cookies on snoutsync.in are from Google Analytics. Embedded content (e.g. YouTube videos in blog posts) may set its own cookies; check the provider's policy for details.
All modern browsers let you view, block or delete cookies through their settings. Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies. Safari: Preferences → Privacy. Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break sign-in and referral tracking.
We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) header where set. When GPC is detected, analytics cookies are not loaded.
If we add new categories of cookies (for example, when we introduce in-app payments), this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date below will change.
