The simple rules that keep SnoutSync safe, useful and worth showing up for.

Use your real name and a real photo. Don't impersonate anyone — including vets, breeders, or other pet parents. Verified businesses must use their legal business name.
Don't post or promote: cruelty, fighting, breed-shaming, illegal animal sale, abandonment, or any content that endangers an animal. Posts glorifying mistreatment will be removed and the account suspended.
Share experience and rally support, but don't diagnose or prescribe. For health concerns, always direct fellow members to a licensed veterinarian. Verified vets on SnoutSync may share educational content but must add a clear "not a substitute for an in-person consultation" disclaimer.
Don't repeatedly post the same content, run unauthorized giveaways, sell live animals outside the verified Breeder program, or solicit donations without prior approval. Affiliate links must be disclosed.
Don't share someone else's phone number, address or photos without their consent. Don't screenshot private DMs into public communities.
City communities are for that city's pet life. Don't crosspost political content, unrelated marketing, or off-topic memes.
Verified vets, groomers, trainers, stores and breeders may answer questions in their area of expertise. Self-promotion is allowed in clearly marked business posts only — not inside every conversation. Soliciting reviews in exchange for discounts is prohibited.
See something that breaks the rules? Use the "Report" button in the app or email trust@snoutsync.com. Reports are reviewed by humans within 48 hours.
Depending on severity we may: remove the content, warn the member, temporarily suspend, permanently ban, revoke verification, or report to law enforcement. We log decisions to keep enforcement consistent.
If you believe an action was a mistake, email appeals@snoutsync.com within 14 days. A different reviewer will look at your case.
